Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy but no "forms" view when filing online Easy to use but I filed using the online version and so I couldn't see my forms. I wanted to add info from a 1098-T for tuition I paid for a dependent but it wasn't obvious through the prompts where to do this and couldn't go to my forms to add it in directly. TurboTax eventually linked me to the proper place to go back and add it in "expenses" but I had to do so by first using the search box and entering "tuition expenses" (it would not send me there when entering "1098-T" in the search box - it only gave me info on what 1098-T was). So, I spent a good half-hour trying to figure this out :(

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent Flow and Content This is my first time to file our family software. Great experience. 4 instead of 5 star, is for the clarity of the cost structure. We started with $59 and ended up with $200+. I know it depends on the services I picked. The upgrade asks during the virtual interviews need to be clearer on whether or not I need to agree to the upgrade.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from ok for the first time the simple questions were great and walked me through very nicely, but there were way too many extra fees as we went along, and once you are at a certain point you have to move forward there is no changing it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from TurboTax Overcomplicates through Obfuscation By hiding the conversion of questions -> form fields, it makes it impossible to determine what is user error, what is software error, and what is accurate. This completely overcomplicates some stuff. Additionally, they have the Backdoor Roth workflow setup incorrectly; when entering that for contributions/conversions that took place between 12/31/2022 - 4/18/2023 for tax year 2022, it taxes the distribution as income incorrectly.
