Rated 1 out of 5 by unhappy_client_2023 from after 17 years I quit TurboTax It is getting worse and worse and they charge more and more. Last year I had to e-file 7 times before it was approved. This year it wasn't accepted the first time. When I get back to check step by step what is going on the Review process find 20 errors - why did pass the first time? I had to delete some forms I didn't needed. I run r4eview again, everything was looking fine , so I resubmitted my tax. I had to pay again $25 for my state eFile. There was no option to show I already paid. It was decline again with the same error: that my previous year AGI is not the same as IRS data. I logged in to my IRS account to double check, and of course it was correct. If that would happened the other way around they will charge you fees, penalties and interest.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Stump95 from Not very upfront, or clear about premium services The lack of transparency to receiving Tax returns is disgraceful. I am floored by how this charge comes at the end of the walkthrough I received to finalize my Taxes. I ordered the deluxe package and did not expect to be charged an additional $45. This is taking advantage of the customer

Rated 3 out of 5 by Yolie65 from screwed twice i was a little confused when filing my 401 disaster form as it was not really clear on what I needed to input and where. also the fee for paying by credit card is ridiculously high. a flat fee should be all you charge not a percentage of of totaled paid.

Rated 5 out of 5 by DSMCC from Data Entry is lways easy to understand and follow I have used Turbotax for over 20 years and each year is more user friendly and less time consuming to enter data. The best feature is picking up where you left off so you can revisit your return without having to start over.

Rated 1 out of 5 by NotSoHappyReturns from TurboTax Premier Desktop Download was a pain No happy with using TurboTax Premier. It asked me to pay the State e-filing fee even though it is supposed to be included in the product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by asdfljasdfl from 1040x NOT WORKING!!!! Was UNABLE to refile via e-file after making a mistake on my taxes (original was rejected by feds and state because of wrong social security number). TurboTax sent emails about the rejected status of both submission,... so I revise the SS number and try to submit a 1040x and now TurboTax is reporting I did not submit my original paperwork through e-file (after the email that forms were not accepted, so obviously I DID submit the files but they were rejected). I'm out the charge for the state filing and have to submit my taxes through the mail. I WOULD NEVER agree to the $25 if I knew that if I made a mistake on a form that I would not be able to submit the 1040x via e-file, I would never fork over the fee for the electronic submission. There are some folks complaining about this - look if you want - this is a problem that TurboTax has not address as early as 2020. I will continue to use TurboTax - just not e-file. Save yourself $25 or what your state fees are,... live and learn- hope this helps someone and they avoid e-file for your state <sigh>
