Somehow my file was corrupted affecting one of my asset entries. I'm so appreciative of Debra guiding me through the process of resolving this issue. Debra also explained the need to file a 1040 X and assisted in adjusting my 1040, to reflect a refund due to omitting a tax loss due to a stock sale in 2021. She was very detailed-oriented in answering my concerns.

Good that they have lifetime guarantee...program took the distribution from an inherited ROTH IRA and put it as 'non taxable' on the state form. It is taxable, has code T in box 7 of the state form.

A simple tax return is one that's filed using IRS Form 1040 only, without having to attach any forms or schedules. Only certain taxpayers are eligible.
