Rated 2 out of 5 by from A couple of serious flaws Preparing a tax retuen with multiple trades, the software dod not save all of the numbers that were input. Last year, I was able to create 1040-es estimated payment coupons. Trying multipe times and can not do it this year. Very, very frustrating,. Seriously considering using another product next year.

I ran a small C-corp business with my wife for 30 years, but I'm now retired with a side job. TurboTax asks the relevant questions and filing is a breeze.

Since almost all of my information was already on file with Turbotax, including my W-2, I feel like I just paid Turbotax $180 to do the math on my returns for me. I probably won't be using this service next time due to the increasing cost every year. My return was rejected because of a missing 1095-A but since I didn't have insurance through the ACA, I wasn't allowed to enter zero, which is exactly what it said on my 1095-A when I went to refile. Turbotax was virtually no help other than "find out the information from your ACA provider" or something similarly unhelpful.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Non-existant customer service Works well enough for returns but lacks any significant support for any issues. In my case, I haven't been able to log in to my account for over four years. This may be my last year as my credit card on record expires. When attempting to recover my account, I get sent an email with a code to enter. After doing so, I get a message that I need another means of verification but there are no choices except for a link for customer service. Clicking that, I restart the "recovery" and go through the same process again. Going to the website for assistance only gets a "FAQ" with generic answers for their products, none of which deal with account recovery. In a nutshell, there is absolutely no one to contact if there are any account issues. My account is basically null.
