Rated 4 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax is good and can be improved. Turbo Tax saves me time each year with filing tax returns. Although the entry of K-1 form information is a huge bottleneck. It slows down the process to a crawl. I request for the questions and explanations to be simplified and dumbed down for accommodating the company K-1 forms data.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Going Downhill Used to be faster and more simple, now takes forever and the dont explain anything unless you pay so much money. Also charges more $$ when using your refund to pay. 100% will be switching methods this year

Rated 2 out of 5 by from TurboTax has gone downhill...I won't use it again. For almost 10 years I have used TurboTax. I usually purchase it yearly at Office Depot or Best Buy. It has ALWAYS included a free copy of 1 state filing. This year I paid $60 for TurboTax, then had to pay another $45 to download the State, then had to pay another $25 to e-file the state. I have always itemized...but when I got done this year it says...yeah...we are giving you the Standard Deduction because it saves you money. No explanation. No side by side comparison...just opted over to the Standard after I had spent hours entering in medical, business and donation deductions. Then it messed up when I went to e-file and wouldn't validate. After another 30 frustrating minutes of looking where they told me to look, I finally figured out that I needed to see if there were any updates...even though, when I started into it last week, and waiting for it to download the latest updates, I thought I was up to date. Turns out...no...I now have to download another update to actually make my e-file...which I had already paid for...go through. Had problems installing the update...computer locked up in the middle of it for 30 minutes. FINALLY got it to go through. There has got to be a better way after paying $130. Going to check into H&R Block next year.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from long and expensive used the 15min roadside took 45min. repetitive and very expensive for a retired person. only had a 1099r to file cost almost $200.00. do believe this a rip off.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Adult hack! Turbotax makes this responsibility seem not so bad. I really hate filing my taxes. Its April 17th and It took me 16 mins to complete. Just in time for the due date. Thank you!
