Rated 1 out of 5 by from Can we just get rid of the middleman? Every year I use TurboTax, I have to wrangle around to get into the actual forms. Why? Why can't we more easily see the forms to see what's what? Why is the UX so hard to figure out? I'd estimate that this sorting things out increases the amount of time I spend doing my taxes by 2x. Again, why?

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great program but needs some finishing touches First, thanks for making this so easy! A couple things that would improve the product is; 1) the interface of the downloaded program could use a little polishing. I've been using the online version for years and it has a much nicer interface and flow. 2) Give returning online customers your best possible price or at least offer them a price match. I saved a chunk of money by buying the download version through CostCo but now I have returns both online and on my machine. This is a bummer. 3) As soon as I hit submit, TurboTax came back needing additional information. After all the double, triple, quadrupal checks that you reminded me that you were doing you still forgot to get information from me?! Did you really check over the info and calcs all those times or were you just putting me on hold for no reason? ;)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Improved Software Ever!!!! I am a resident originally from Europe and had never done taxes. Taxes would take me weeks to complete if I had to do it manually, or pay a fee to have someone do it for me. When I first came to the USA Turbo Tax was brand new and very frustrating to use (although I still knew it was better than doing taxes manually). However, the improvements the company has improved the product is immense and shows you listen to you customers. Something that not all software companies do. But, you are at the top of the league for product improvement. Major kudos to all the Teams at Turbo Tax. I would even edge on the side that you make taxes enjoyable. That is not something I would ever thought I would say!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Unnecessary Added Fees Lots of added fees and if you unknowingly click on an unnecessary feature you can't cancel. Also, they don't disclose it cost like $40 to pay with refund.
