Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not Happy got an error code about using a dependent SSN that was already filed by another filer. The error message stated I would be able to find the SSN in question in the description code via a number in a bracket. There was not a bracket to be found anywhere. Also, after searching for the code, a message appeared that the issue had been resolved and to visit refile. Refiling cost me an additional fee to refile on top of the $119 fee already paid for turbo tax

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Return was rejected 3 times Turbotax autopopulated prior years AGI, which one would assume was correct as I used Turbotax last year. It ended up causing my return to be rejected 3 times. The point of using the software is to retain the basics and make it easier. This and the fact that it's not easy / listed to find areas in the software are frustrating. Turbotax used to be so simple and you over-engineered it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Still good - a little glitchy TurboTax is still a helpful tool for preparing a tax return. Even some of the more complex activities go smoothly. There continue to be, though, some unnecessary steps for confirming entries (confirmation of numbers is good, confirmation of other entries does not appear to be necessary). Navigation is not always easy but, once you master using the Search function, TurboTax takes you right where you need to go.
