Rated 3 out of 5 by from Frustrations I couldn't believe how much I owed, considering how little I earn and how much I gave away and the fact that my social security is supposed to be nontaxable. I figured there must be some mistake, so I tried to use another service to check the figures. In doing so, I needed figures from last year. When I tried to get them from TurboTax, I was asked for the reason. I indicated I was using another service. To download the prior year's tax return, I had to pay another software company. Then when I saw the download, it was too much of a mess to bother with. It was too hard to read. I feel like you were holding my data hostage. I had already paid for the tax prep, and I felt I ought to be able to get a copy of what I paid for without additional charges. This is my last year for using TurboTax.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Want to just get this thing done? Turbo tax is a quick and easy way to file your taxes, and they gamify most of the screens so it is not so boring and tedious. They offer services but aren't at all pushy. Its the only way to do your taxes in 2023.
