The imports of my documents, whether it was importing directly though an outside company or via PDF/photo, were riddled with errors. I had to go back and make HUNDREDS of manual corrections. The mistakes were absolutely brainless too. At one point it was reading the year "2022" as a dollar amount and demanding I account for $2,220 worth of funds on random forms. Absolutely no one is around to help or has a satisfactory answer for anything. And it costs several times what HR Block does (and somehow after all that actually works better). I'm also positive I'm missing potential deductions from my state taxes that they just don't account for. I have no confidence in this return and it took forever.

We've all seen the notice to "Update the Software", which will "Only take a minute". Of course, the minute passes, and TurboTax acknowledges "it's taking longer than one minute". As we approach Intuit's 30th year of ownership, and the 40th anniversary of TurboTax's existence, can't y'all come up with some additional acknowledgements?

With that said, I couldn't even use my refund to pay for premium. I am now broke and my cat is dying. Can't believe it. Thanks turbotax.

A simple tax return is one that's filed using IRS Form 1040 only, without having to attach any forms or schedules. Only certain taxpayers are eligible.
