Watch out for additional hidden costsIntuit advertises that some of their products include a state return. They don't tell you that it costs $25 more to e-file each state return! Also, if you have to file state returns in more than one state, add another $40 for each additional state! So, to e-file in 2 states, you'll be paying an additional $90 on top of the base federal package price. It adds up to be quite expensive for a product that hasn't updated its clunky screen design for decades.
