Rated 4 out of 5 by from 2023 TAX I didn't understand why we didn't get the original $303 State Tax - after paying $194 on Form 201, that was taken out. I also had a hard time getting my discount - had to call in for service code, said it expired but had 2 hrs to go. I don't understand why the poor who hardly make enough but to keep gas in the car and work, get so little while others get big refunds like the fat cat corporate guys we make rich. They report our tips. They often don't report their take out instant fees and what EIC BREAKS are there for the Sr. Citizen. There should be some automatic FEDERAL refunds for those under the poverty line. I use Turbo, cause I sort of had to. I wish I had a simple 1040 like in the days I just worked for companies. This added expense breaks us even more.
