So many hidden fees from using your return to pay for service to the deluxe service that mysteriously got added to my account. Not to mention getting rejected twice after uploading all my documents. Yikes. Avoiding.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I have used this site since 2018. For years I paid other people to file my taxes. My circumstances changes over time. The last CPA said she had to file my taxes a certain way based on what she said the IRS law stated. It caused me to owe the IRS taxes two years in a row. After that CPA moved away, I used free software for three years. But I was never certain about what I was doing due to the tax returns I had from that last CPA. The schedules looked slightly different and the questions asked weren't always helpful. When I began using TurboTax, certain questions were asked. This caused me to research the IRS website and found the exact scenario I was facing that helped me file my taxes correctly. (This had been the scenario I had explained to the last CPA.) I even purchased TurboTax software to amend two years of taxes, which I had done on two free sites. I did this after my husband received his ITIN. We were able to file those amended taxes jointly. TurboTax software has been very helpful.
