Rated 3 out of 5 by from It is a bit frustrating It is frustrating not to be able to see the forms you are filling out, easy to do, but not so reassuring.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good product but disappointed with company I've been using TurboTax for 10+ years. A few days ago, all of my prior year versions were deactivated and required license codes be re-entered in order to open the program. This is very inconvenient and bad timing, with taxes due today. It comes across as very inconsiderate and greedy to me, assuming your company is hoping people can't find their old license keys.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax is a LIFE SAVER!! I've been using Turbo Tax for the past 20 years and it has never failed me. Very simple and its just plug and play. If I have any questions, the links to the IRS website and information is very convenient.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax is OK, but really could be better. Every year during the review I'm asked to provide info re: personal use of car and household employee that is no longer relevant, and has not been for several years. It's annoying. Please have a yes or no upfront query that shuts this stuff down. Last year, I could not import 1099 info from Charles Schwab. Neither your techs nor Schwab's could fix the problem, try though they did. Problem appears to have been fixed this year. I hope. We'll see if the returns are accepted. Because I had to submit printed forms last year, you don't have a record of me filing for 2020. I get that, but it's also annoying. It also makes me a little crazy that I have to pay $45 for my second state (CA) return, where I am part owner of two pieces of commercial property, and another $25 to file electronically. My tax bill to CA this year is $192. I have to pay you guys $70 for the privilege. Come on! Change your pricing structure for those of us who have minimal income in a second state. I file taxes for my 99 year old mother-in-law in Illinois. She has zero tax liability in IL because her income is so low. So, instead of paying you guys $70, I use the IL website, fill out the forms and, file electronically directly (or send in printed forms). Cost: 0. Doesn't take a genius to save $70, but it makes me annoyed with you.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Two program bugs, validated by other users, sad Two bugs (e-file for amended return and screen size on credit card payment), validated by other users, the latter was also experienced last year. They need to read their own problems and fix them, rather than deny them. I can provide detail, if they are interested in improving their product.
