Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty Good But Overall the 2021 program was easy to use and enter data. The coaching stuff was a bit over the top. Biggest draw back the developer's over use of 'intuitive' menus. You had to use the chat bot to locate forms or go back to previous screens. Also for investments often the download from institutions didn't work and for multiple forms from the same company you couldn't easily know which account the form was reporting so you had to click on the 'start' or 'review' icon. Would be nice if the title indicated the last 4 of an account number. Finally, the post form questions place on individual screens was a pain to click through. Just put the inane IRS questions all on one page. I liked the older style of the menu where under "federal" would be submenu items to quickly go back to rather than use the chat bot or waste time clicking the 'back' button.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Conveniently annoying Don't get me wrong, I love turbotax and have used it for 6 years but do not appreciate the extra fees. You should enclose it is an $80 fee at the beginning of the filing process and not $39. its a misperception and shady. I have chosen to turn away from using your website next year when I file.

Turbotax is great because it takes you step by step through your personal tax situation and provides tons of suggestions and examples if you need clarification on anything. I've been using Turbotax for years and it seems like it gets easier every year!
