This filing fee goes right to TurboTax profits! I hate paying to pay my taxes so I use the US Postal Service and mail return. 55 cents vs $25. I would give it 5 star if not for this state e-file payment.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Straightforward but costly I'd rate 3.5/5. We have used Turbotax for around 7 years. Overall it is straightforward and simple to use. I'm happy it keeps the info from previous years and autofills data. Every so often the explanations provide are not clear for the average lay person. I find the cost continues to increase and each added service costs more. Given it is predominantly a program, I do not think the cost is justified. Scheduling to meet a tax expert was at least two weeks out so I just messaged the live agent for some guidance and spoke with a friend who is a CPA.
