Rated 3 out of 5 by from Does the job if you have enough patience The hardest part is actually getting the software. Each year a day or two before the deadline, I go online to download the software. Each year somehow my account credentials get goofed up (I keep secure copy of all my credentials) To restore credentials requires jumping through a pile of hoops and waiting several working days. A tech company that can't re-enable your account immediately??? The Intuit website is just a giant commercial for their products, it is NOT intuitive to use, and it isn't even close to being customer centric. Do these companies not use user focus groups to create friendly and productive web sites? The apps that my company creates can be successfully used by a five year old. So each year I just buy it anonymously because I don't have several working days to get my account re-enabled. It would seem as the tax deadlines get closer they would staff up. It isn't like they don't know the dates in advance for the next couple decades. It is possible that there are not enough qualified customer support personnel available to handle the tax deadline periods. Well then you better have every single one of your Executive and Admin staff manning a customer service phone/chat. If those groups are jumping in to help the user have a smooth experience during a stressful time then that might explain why after decades Intuit has become a mediocre company. I am pretty sure I am not alone in these opinions. Many people are looking for other options and we will certainly not hesitate to change if a strong performer arrives on the scene. Our loyalty ran out a few years ago after using Intuit from the beginning. I hope you can get it together otherwise you will join a LONG list of companies that owned the market and no longer exist.
