Rated 1 out of 5 by from Turbotax Experience I never got the full amount I was quoted because there was a mistake during the process of my taxes, I paid for an expert that could make sure something like this doesn't happen. Part of my tax refund had a 3rd stimulus attached, I contacted turbotax and was told the agents could not work on my account since I had an expert already working on it. I was told to contact the IRS and they told me to contact turbotax again, I couldn't message or see the name of my expert anymore after paying the fee for service I even told the expert I was struggling and had to borrow money from a friend to pay for the assistance. I trusted my 10 year experienced expert to get me through my taxes with easy, that was a massive mistake that I'm stuck regretting. I could've done my taxes without an expert and just got the same amount I made but instead I paid $300+ just to get about $400 for my tax refund when I was expecting $1800+. Going back and forth only frustrated me because I'm stressing out trying to get my missing stimulus, when my expert should've stuck with me through the entire process. I feel worse knowing I paid for service and did not get help I really needed, it's not fair I had to pay and didn't get the amount I was appraised. I'm struggling to live, the agents just don't care as long as they're make commission for the service.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from TurboTax saved my tax experience! Choosing to upgrade to the full-service option absolutely changed my entire year. With a new job and confusing stock finances, my tax expert Annette did all the work to ensure my returns were maxed and what I owed was limited. She took the time to answer all my questions and gave expert advice on how to plan for next year. 10/10 would absolutely recommend, especially if you're dealing with new or unfamiliar tax situations.
