Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy Peasy Nice walk through of the basic stuff needed to complete our return. Nicest part for me is dealing with the couple of stock sales we have. Turbo Tax auto tracks carry forwards for us so we don't have to dig out old documents. Also, does well when importing documents from our broker so we don't have enter each divided and worry about how to handle the $2 in foreign dividends. All walked through easily with Turbo Tax.

She answered all my questions in ways I can understand, took the time with me to send me sources for future tax returns and gave great advise overall. Turbo tax, you need to have the option for us consumers to pick who want to work with next or a feature to request previous reps we worked with.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A couple of difficulties It was mostly easy, but there were a couple of significant difficulties. Like most retired people, I make estimated tax payments. It was very difficult to figure out where to enter this information. I should have been asked about estimated payments BEFORE going through computing an underpayment penalty. I imported brokerage information (1099-B) directly from my broker. There were two dates that ended up blank. The error check found them, and asked me for the correct info, but didn't identify which transaction (out of hundreds!) was the problem. Also, because I had many transactions, it took several minutes to display the list, with no feedback during that time. The area where the transactions were displayed was very short and could not be expanded to display more at one time.
