I HAVE RELIED ON THE THOROUGHNESS OF THE INFORMATION AND CLEAR GUIDANCE TO FINISH THE HATEFUL JOB OF TAX RETURNS. LAST YEAR TURBO TAX "LOST CONNECTION" SO I WAS UNABLE TO E-FILE. I COPIED THE RETURN AND SENT IT IN WITH A CHECK. IRS CASHED THE CHECK WITHIN TWO DAYS. I WONDERED WHY THIS YEAR WE DID NOT RECEIVE STIMULUS PAYMENT BUT IT DID NOT OCCUR TO ME TO QUESTION FEDERAL TAX RETURN AS WE KNEW WE MET ALL PARAMETERS. WE USED TURBO TAX FOR THIS YEAR. I DID NOT LEARN FROM TURBO TAX THAT I COULD FILE FOR REBATE REIMBURSEMENT BUT HAD NUMEROUS FRIENDS TELL ME. I HAD TO WATCH A UTUBE VIDEO TO LEARN THE FORM NUMBER TO COMPLETE AND WHAT LINE ON 1040 TO ENTER THE NUMBER. I TRIED TO E-FILE THIS YEAR, BUT COULD NOT BECAUSE THERE IS NO 2019 RETURN ON FILE. I TRIED TO USE THE LIMITED HELP FROM TURBO TAX BUT ALL THEY COULD SUGGEST WAS PUTTING AGI AMOUNT ON LINE AND RESUBMIT BY E-FILE. THAT DOES NOT WORK EITHER IF THERE IS NO RETURN ON FILE. SO NOW I AM PRINTING MY RETURN FOR MAIL IN KNOWING THAT THIS WILL GO FURTHER TO THE BOTTOM OF THE STACK OF RETURNS ACCUMULATED DUE TO COVID WORK STOPPAGE LAST SPRING. IVE BEEN TOLD THERE ARE TRUCKLOADS OF 2019 RETURNS WAITING TO BE PROCESSED. NOW I WONDER IF WE WILL RECEIVE THE CURRENT STIMULUS WHICH WE COULD REALLY USE. I AM SURPRISED THAT TURBO TAX DID NOT AT LEAST MENTION THIS ISSUE AND SUGGEST AN ALTERNATIVE. I AM 77 YEARS OLD AND DON'T REALLY NEED THIS LACK OF PREPARATION, MECHANIZED RESPONSES, AND WHAT APPEARS TO BE A DISTINCT LACK OF INTEREST. ITS VERY DOUBTFUL I'LL BE USINE TURBO TAX AGAIN.
