Rated 4 out of 5 by from Review Instructions on the opening page are not clear. Adding the words "select a" user name and password would be helpful. The employer ID is not where you said it would be on the Washington state W2. It is actually in box 14. When I went to check my email for the code at the end, the window I was on disappeared. Very scary. I did not enter the last code sent to me but my email was confirmed anyway???

However, there are many other options now, and the cost to buy and the additional fees to file the state return seem high in my opinion. Would like to see free state file included.

It doesn't allow input of the state deduction for 529 Edvest contributions as it says it does in the help section (at least not for Wisconsin). It doesn't calculate the 529 distribution tax correctly either. Obviously, this item isn't part of their testing.

My tax situation is considered complicated because I have one dependent, even though I took the standard deduction. In the end I kept getting prompted to add more services. I was only given the final charges after I had spent time inputting all of my tax info. I'll be shopping around next year for sure.
