Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nickle and Dime Honestly, I understand it's paying for convenience, but the fact that I paid $50 for state, $90 for Premier, and then I had to pay $40 to use my Federal refund as a means to pay for said above services, I'll probably consider another tax solution for 2021.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from its better than h&r i like turbo tax because they actually got us a refund and h&r never could. only 2 things i talk like is the "tax professional" i talked to wasn't very professional or knowledgeable. also i don't like that they charge for every little freaking thing. i already have to pay more for being self employed which is wrong so i think filing state should be free. also wish they wouldn't charge for using your return to pay them.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Taxes vs Covid Shot (great, it's over) We missed an important blank on the first page and spent an hour trying to tell the program we had already purchased a download and didn't need to do it again. We found our mistake after closing out and starting over--our fault, not your's. Don't idiots like us get past the login page without filling in all the blanks!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Too pushy to upgrade This could be my last year using Turbo tax. It's too pushy to get us to upgrade to a more expensive product. Hard to trust, which one is good for us. Seems like Turbotax wanted us to pay for the most expensive, no matter how easy or complicated our tax filing situation is. They should recommend the one that is good for us, not the most expensive and good for them.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from NOT as GOOD as it use to be! Disappointed from the time of loading program and opening! Have used TurboTax for many many years. Did not - would not - load my information from 2019 (used Turbo Tax then) off of my computer. Had to load ALL information all over again! Real Pain in the Butt! Would not accept changes (asked question about 1095A) thought wife still had it and answered "yes" but I was wrong, tried to go back and change it but it wouldn't let me. Not happy at all with this year's program.
