Rated 4 out of 5 by from Turbotax can be confusing Mostly my experience over the years has been good. I have used various versions of TurboTax since the 1990's and it has gotten better and better. HOWEVER, some screens can be confusing. The IRA conversion screens are not intuitive if you don't know you need to update your basis. The questions don't take you there unless you know the right answer. In other words, if you have more than a simple tax situation, you need to be very knowedgeable even with Turbotax. The screen where you pay could be clearer because it looks like they are charging you twice unless you go on to the next screen where it becomes more clear. Finally, the online support is marginal. I called with a question, after I asked my question the agent said hold for a minute and after 15 minutes of listening to music, I hung up. I was able to figure it out myself but hours later she hasn't called back even though she took my number. So, overall it is a good product but improvements could be made.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Self-serving advertising is annoying, distracting. Over the years, this product has been reliable. Too much advertising now, no visibility to forms in progress, difficult to just enter numbers without uploading all of my financial information. Many references at the end to file a State return. No State tax in FL!
