Rated 5 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax Rocks It was very easy to complete both my federal and state income tax. Turbo tax checked for all possible deductions, and I got a great refund. I even qualified to pay for my turbo tax with my refund. Painless all the way around.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Product was much more confusing this year. I had difficulty finding certain items on Turbo tax this year, like how to print the forms. And I think that the general information area needs updating. I ended up for some reason having a dependent which I do not and having a language sheet. It was hard to correct my errors. I think the program needs amending. It was better before the Tax Bill that reduced taxes became effective. I understood that form and what was happening.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Too many situations unhandled For a tax idiot like me, there were too many mistakes that it let me make. For example, I sold a home last year that I used to live in. I've rented it out for the last 8 years. Following TurboTax's prompts, it let me treat the home as both a rental business and as a primary resident without warning. So, I ended up counting the proceeds of the sale twice. I had to hire an accountant to figure out what I did wrong. There were other cases like that as well.
