Rated 5 out of 5 by from Retirement Transition Made Easy! Retired, and moved states...making for a more complicated tax situation. I procrastinated as long as a I could, debating whether to hire out. Decided to trust TurboTax and go it alone. 4 hours, and done! The right questions cleared up all concerns with early retirement and 401K withdrawals. Love Turbotax

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Turbo tax should be called UUUGGGGHHHH tax The software was easier to follow this year. I wish there was a way to find Turbo Tax in our town. WE TRAVELED 50 MILES ONE DIRECTION to get our copy for this year.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Mostly awesome but has quirks I've been using TurboTax for over 20 years, for everything from personal, rental properties, and investments. A couple quirks - if you pass over something, like my husband's Roth IRA balance, and later on want to go back to it, it's impossible to find where that is without having to go through the ENTIRE interview thing all over again. Also, I sold some stock, and in that section I mistakenly looked at the "Foreign Countries" list thinking it might have the USA in it but it didn't. So i chose <not applicable>. Then it made me (!!) remove the state and zip code from my entries because "I had a foreign country selected." I did not, in fact, but it would NOT file my taxes with those entries. I think this opens me up for an audit, so I'm upset about this. But otherwise I really love importing from my financial institutions - just wish K-1s would import. :( Thanks for making my tax prep easy(ish) once again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from User friendly product So easy to use! Two complaints: I did not like how many times I was asked to upgrade and pay more money for the service. I also found it odd that I had to pay for Premium and an extra $60+ to file my taxes in NYC. I went into the tax journey thinking it's free to use Turbo Tax for a simple tax return like mine rather than $193.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from not very happy unable to correct or fix an entry that I did NOT enter & since the item is in a yellow box with red number. it cannot be removed or overrides. if it could I'd be able to e-file. it is costing my the $26+ to send via USPS, not including the postage Second year in a row that I've not been happy. Have been a customer since (c:\ days, a long time).Need ton have more employees familiar with APPLE products.
