Rated 3 out of 5 by from Bug in autofilling state return W2 info My scanned W2 form had extra spaces in box 15 (state withholding ID number). This was no problem for the federal return, but it was flagged by TT's checker in the state return. There was no way to fix it in the state return. The instructions said to fix it in the federal W2. But it looked fine there. Finally, I realized that I had to erase the correctly displayed number in the federal W2 Box 15 and retype it correctly. That fixed the problem. This is a bug. There is no way to contact TT about such bugs without having to pay extra. Bad policy.

The additional features of importing brokerage data was more robust than I remember and helped considerably with the data importing. I contacted a TurboTax expert on several occasions for clarification and they were all extremely helpful, very knowledgeable, and diligent in getting my answer.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from sucks having to enter payment info twice Payment for audit protection and state efiling was a pain, state efiling should be included in the package and payment should be easier one time process for everything immediately before filing instead of seperate charges.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax Saves Time I've used Turbo for the past 10+ years. every year it changes a little but it also grows and becomes user friendly to your needs and previous tax year peculiarities. I finished my taxes in 3 hours! in the past I've spent 1/2 a day trying to understand what its asking me and where to find the correct forms that I had, but this year it was a breeze. USER BEWARE! If you don't organize your paper work first and are not an organized type of person, go to a tax consultant.

Integrations with banks & brokerages did not pull down 1099-INT, DIV and Brokerage statements completely. UX confusing to navigate from a tax return schedule perspective. I have used Turbo Tax for over 20 years and I will evaluate other solutions for next year
