Rated 5 out of 5 by from I use TurboTax every year A long time ago, I used the family computer to file my taxes, after hearing that I could do it for free on TurboTax and get my refund faster. My Mother, Father, 3 Brothers and 4 Aunts were all TOTALLY skeptical about it, and refused for years to do it except in the old fashioned way. (giant packets of newspaper like pages with codes and maps, formulas and examples that you used to have to pick up from the library, or post office.) Every year that I log in, it is so satisfying to see all the information from every year that I've used TurboTax since 1998. I won't use anything else.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from turbo tax deluxe needs improvement You should be able to split out your returns (federal and State) with turbo tax deluxe. I e filed my federal but only want to print out the state tax for submission by mail however every time I go in to the application I have to go through both returns and I can't figure out how to just print out the state forms.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from worked great, except for my GLD holdings I bought GLD ETF in 2021 which has some fees associated with it. TurboTax thinks these fees are income, and they aren't. This was all through TD Ameritrade. I never sold the GLD so there was no profit, yet. The program doesn't seem to understand this. Also, the entire HSA section needs to be reworked, it was very confusing. Otherwise it was fine.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from TurboTax is Great but.. TurboTax is super straight forward and easy to use but when it comes to it being free to file, it never is for me. I wish they would be more specific as to what you are paying for. Otherwise I really enjoy using TurboTax
