Rated 4 out of 5 by from turbo tax review great for most things like importing financial things but after importing my w2, TurboTax did not recognize what was school district tax when it asked to do my school district tax as part of my state taxes. I could not find a way to go back and enter school district tax and I had to do this myself on paper. A missed opportunity

The "basic" service is one of the best options out there for people with filing for the basic W2 tax return. One thing I think needs to improve from the functionality of the website is this though: When you are going through the filing process, filling out any information that is required or submitting any documents, if at any point you want to change something from your response and click the "Back" button it takes you all the way to the first page instead of the previous page undoing all the work and progress you've made. That annoyed me, but I found pretty much everything else okay!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from TurboTax is resting on past performance I missed out on $3k from federal due to the child tax credit and how turbotax didn't handle it. I went through all the questions it gave me and gave all the info it asked for. Lucky for me the IRS said i had an error and sent me the rest. I could have gotten that refund sooner Turbo Tax.
