Also, my mom was not eligible for the recovery rebate credit as she was dependent in 2019 and not a dependent in 2020. Turbotax kept saying that my mom was eligible. There was no way to indicate otherwise. We decided not to file her taxes through Turbotax. I did not think I need to spend an additional $50 to tell me why Turbotax kept stating she was eligible and we knew she wasn't.
