Rated 2 out of 5 by from TurboTax was sort of helpful… In the past, I have used TurboTax for my individual returns for its convenience and reliability, and simple UI. TT had always been a breeze to work with in the past, handling my individual returns quickly and correctly. However, now that I have my own business, I found using TT this year to be so much more confusing than ever before. There were many terms within the entire 1065 form and K-1 that I do not understand. TurboTax would explain only SOME vocabulary, but the rest I had to look up on my own. As someone who is ignorant to CPA methods, terms, & vocabulary, the process was made so much longer just by trying to look up what wasn't thoroughly defined by TT's "explain this" feature. I had gotten stuck on many things because of my ignorance. In some areas of TurboTax's forum, there were little to no answers to questions I had about my individual situation nor were there sufficient definitions to certain vocabulary. If TurboTax has a feature to chat with a bot, or better yet- a real CPA then I would happily pay the price for any questions I have while I file to be answered as I go along. I attempted to upgrade to the "File For Me" feature and was expecting this years taxes to be smooth sailing once I ordered that service. Unfortunately, that was not a feature available in TurboTax Business. With all that said, in the future I may just pay the extra money to have a CPA deal with my taxes from now on. However, I would return to using TurboTax if they had the chatbot/CPA chat/ or even the "File For Me" upgrade available for TurboTax Business. Thank you.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Hidden Fees They don’t tell you that you need to upgrade to premier to upload crypto and stock forms. When you upgrade they try and add on fees to process your state return. On top of that if you chose to have the fees deducted from your return rather then pay with credit card there is an additional fee for that as well. To avoid that pay with credit card save your self $45

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Turbotax did not work on a new Mac powerbook Terrible experience with Turbotax on new Mac Power books. It did not work and Turbotax customer service was useless and said they have had this similar issue, I had to borrow a Dell PC where it worked without issue which is the only reason for the 2 stars. Turbotax needs to find a solution for Mac's or this is my last year using it. I asked some others who I know recently bought new Apple Powerbooks if they had an issue and all had the same problem. Various sites and blogs said Turbotax is aware of this but would not put a solution in place.

El experto que me asignaron que me ayudara no lo hizo y la verdad termine haciendo la declaracion solo y con muchas dudas me siento estafado porque dice que el paquete que compre tendria revision del experto el cual nunca tuve muy mal servicio, de verdad pesimo

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Going away after many years For the first time ever, I am not happy with Turbo Tax Business. For years I have e-filed my federal return and did my state return on paper. This year I decided to pay the $55 to e-file my state taxes to avoid Indiana's new preferred online reporting option. After completion, I got a message that I can not e-file Indiana so I need to print out the return and mail it in. If they would have explained that there was no e-file, I would have handwritten the 12 lines of data instead of paying $55. I will find new software next year.
