Pulling info from last year, making it easy to identify major life changes from last year, pulling investment info by only logging in, uploading W2s instead of manually typing each box, etc. It's the little things that are mind-bogglingly stupid and underhanded. Perfect Example: was told dozens of steps prior to filing that I can pay my turbo tax fees using my federal return and that it's easy to do--they conveniently left out the part where that costs you an additional $40 until you're on the absolute last step before filing. Nickel and dime crap like that adds up. Really unhappy.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Glitch caused error I have a rental property so I used to find TurboTax helpful. A glitch in their system erroneously recorded my property as sold, so it did not carry over my depreciation expense. I was able to do an amendment, but it was a real hassle to get someone who understood my issue and who can help - I wasted countless hours trying to get help. I also had to upgrade in order to get the additional advice on how to fix this. I asked for a courtesy discount for which they gave me a code, but it did not work. I have lost confidence in the accuracy of their record keeping and difficulty in getting customer service was very time consuming. I will be looking elsewhere next year

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Turbo tax needs work. Using windows 11 I used windows 11 to refile my turbo tax for 2019. I had problems entering corrections. Seems like no matter how many I corrected an input correction information did not save. So, I started to save each change. In some instances, the correction displayed correctly on forms for the final save. Yet in some cases the corrected inputs were lost when I printed the forms.
