I was so scared to do my taxes this year with how confusing they were going to be, but TurboTax made it easy and connected me with an amazing CPA!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointing with foreign pension or annuity If you don't receive a 1099-R from a foreign country for your pension or annuity payments there is no way to make the program work since TurboTax is forcing you to enter a federal tax identification number for the e-file to work. Why would a foreign tax authority or life insurer without any business in the USA even send out 1099s in the first place, and why would they bother with a TIN? I need a workaround. Is there a dummy TIN that can be used?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax I have used TurboTax for more than 10 years. The product is very intuitive to use and has been improved every year. There is help readily available throughout the tool enabling you to answer most of your questions without leaving the tool. One suggestion before starting: organize your tax records as it will improve your overall experience and lessen the time spent on inputting info into the tool.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from TurboTax is kludgy, hangs constantly, and is pushy TurboTax continually asks you to upgrade to a more expensive service, which is obnoxious. It tries to be too smart by importing documents too often, and hangs/fails to load commonly.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from TurboTax is good! Somewhat good, but there have been many issues that I had to resolve with TurboTax specialist -- these took me a long, long time, almost 4-5 hours to resolve. This is too long for resolving these issues.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great tool for filing income tax returns. Everything about TurboTax was great, but I do wish there were fillable forms, such as the Worksheet A for the Simplified Method. It would make it much easier to fill, print, and include in my tax folder.
