Rated 4 out of 5 by from Turboxtax is good but it has some room to improve. I like being able to go back and review my progress section by section. I can do this easily within the federal return product. However, reviewing state returns requires one to start from the beginning in some cases. Overall, it is one of the best self-prep tax return products I know of on the marketplace.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Convenient but missed some things Of course it is convenient and I appreciate TT doing all the calculations as taxes can be really confusing. However, it's a money grabber. Also, for some of the confusing questions, the explanations were not helpful. In school, I was taught not to use a word in its own definition; TT did this often. It would help others in the future if the program flagged more possible errors that the IRS says may happen. For example, for a premium tax credit, the program missed that my SLCSP shouldn't have been 0. The 8962 form instruction sheet helped us figure out what to do. I would've missed out on a refund.
