Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst Tax Company EVER! NOT Tax Preparer's Fault! My experience with the TurboTax website was terrible and I am VERY experienced with using websites for 20+ years. Not intuitive. For example, you can't check out and pay from the shopping cart! Perhaps the ONLY company online with this STUPID process. You must click on a non-shopping cart link way to the left and down from the shopping cart! I could not figure it out. Also there were other issues such that after an HOUR I had not checked out and I gave up. TurboTax has no customer service on weekends!!! So days later, my GREAT Tax Preparer kindly walked me through the stupid website and I was able to pay the NOT WORTH IT fee and move on. I sent two complaints and TurboTax has not contacted me after over a week. NEVER again, TurboTax, NEVER again!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax Business has serious flaws Spent days preparing Federal and NJ State returns on TurboTax Business and then could not file using Turbo Tax because they didn't support 2 informational forms which are required by my Federal return, and program doesn't give the option of attaching them to my return, similar to how they require attachment of form 8453 (signatures). I will print and physically mail my Federal return, but I am stuck on my NJ state return, as NJ requires e-file and TurboTax will not e-file state if I don't e-file the Federal. Therefore I have to completely reenter my NJ return information on the NJ state website. When I called TurboTax customer service, someone tried to help me, but they were not familiar with the program and I was told that there is no dedicated support for the TurboTax Business program. Very disappointed as there could be an easy fix (allowing attachments of other IRS forms), but they don't even have the support people to try to get that done. Waste of time and money.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax 2021 I filed in 2020 and the IRS is claiming I never filed and slapped me with late fees. I responded with my bank statement showing them that they cashed the check in May 2021 for $847. I am in need of your assistance in explaining some language on my 2020 (and 2021) tax return. At the top of my return it says "For calendar year 2020 or fiscal year beginning Jul 1, 2020, and ending Jun 30, 2021. This is apparently confusing the IRs!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Allowed Me To E-File Incomplete - REJECTED BY IRS I spent $120 to use TurboTax to guide and assist to make sure I did not miss any important forms and check behind me for errors. After e-filing, my return was Rejected by the IRS because Affordable Care Act form was not completed by me.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Way too complicated The step by step needs to let you what the numbers you are entering are being used for and what lines they will show up on the return. It is very difficult to diagnose where you entered data and where it shows up on the return. The foreign income sections need a lot of work. Values need to be entered in more than one place in order to receive the credit. I had to re-file several years because I thought TT would handle transferring the values to the correct field. There is no flag for a blank field that needs to be filled based on other entries.
