Farm Rental income via 1099-MISC is very strange and you have to be careful not to be overbilled. I wish it was a bit cleaner while inputting the 1099 automatically. Backing out a block of information seems difficulting, but that could have been related to the weirdness of farm rental income. It completes about the federal ID of companies, but it does the import, so why not fix it on import. (spaces in IDs from the W-2's) I really love the imports, saves a ton of time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An old man's best friend. Been using Turbotax for 2 decades. It is almost impossible to picture me trying to find and transcribe all of that numeric information from the financial institutions without the simple download feature that is available.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great Was told turbo tax sucked so I tried using H&R block. After comparing both H&R block and TurboTax my return was the same for both, although TurboTax seemed more user friendly. Also, both require you to upgrade if you went with the free version in order for you to file it conveniently and properly. Because I'm in the military, TurboTax gave a discount on the package I picked as well as my State taxes. I didn't have to pay for anything on a price that should have been around $100, something I would have to pay for if I had gone with H&R block. Keep doing good TurboTax.

State form numbers (for 1099R) were incorrect, leading to problems completing CT State taxes. Not as helpful or intuitive as it has been in past years. Entering data on some pages is clunky. Hiccups in downloads/connections can give you agita. First transfer of info from brokerage went through, then disappeared and had to be re-done. Quite annoying.
