Rated 2 out of 5 by from Very frustrating experience I am still not sure if their calculation allowed me to take the $300 charitable donation deduction that I should have been entitled to, even without itemizing. I was on the phone for over 2 hours and the agent and others with whom she conferred, couldn't give me an answer. After spending so much time entering all my info and being on the call, I finished and filed with TurboTax, but I won't do that again.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from TurboTax is not awesome. It's OK. Not awesome. TurboTax does something quite well - accessing information from previous years, for example - buy other things, like getting the state return right, not so well. For example, when we got to the final bits of the state return, TurboTax announced that I could not file my state return electronically because two entries were not correct. I will have to print it out and stuff it into an envelope and mail it to Indianapolis. I presume the state folks will need to sort it out because (get this) TurboTax is unable to deal with it. And I paid TurboTax for this?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax is the way to go I've been using Turbo Tax for the last 20 years. Even though I had lots of rental properties, it was still easy to use. Though, they should make it easier when you replace your desktop to be able to transfer from the old desktop to the new one through the Cloud.
