Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tax filing is made button push easy with Turbo Tax I have used turbo tax for many years and I really like the fact that it carries forward data from previous years to avoid having to rekey and maybe make errors. Plus it compares to previous year so you can see easily if there are any unexpected discrepancies. Finally the e-filing is smooth and easy. Can do it on my schedule and not worry about a midnight run to the post office.

The new option to upload W-2's is also improved (it did not work for me last year). My only complaint is the upselling. I think I was interrupted 4 times with offers to upgrade to 'Plus' or 'Pro' packages.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I could not e file because of a quirk The IRS and CO rejected my e-files because of "duplicate" 1099R's. The amounts and the Source were the same, but the account numbers were not the same. This is a glitch in the system and needs to be resolved if e-filing is to be encouraged. The IRS and CO computers should recognize different account numbers.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from turbo tax is adequate Turbo tax says they have all kinds of "expert" help, but if you try to get any, they want extra money. all along they way, they prompt you to upgrade, which means pay more. Plus they now charge $50 to do the State return, which is ridiculous, as the form is extremely simple and straightforward.
