Rated 5 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax has been with me for ten years! I have relied on TurboTax for at least ten years. I appreciate the way the questions are worded to guide me through the various sections of income and expenses and the clarifications available on many items. I really appreciate the way last year's information is available for reference, saving my having to re-enter data. My only concern is that once my electronic filing was rejected several years ago, I have never been able to successfully file electronically again. I am not sure what is being triggered, but it would be preferable to file electronically without rejection.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax has always been great to work with. I have used Turbo Tax program home and business for more than 8 years, and it has always been an ease to work with. I did have glitch this years when entering the sale of our home, but it was eventually resolved when I called customer support. I talked with Kathy and she showed me how to fix the problem. I really appreciated her help.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from A form worksheet held me up Generally good, but a form worksheet related to mortgage kept showing an error and consequently my filing was a day beyond the Oct 17 deadline. Had to fill in extra parts using Forms to get the errors to disappear. Very frustrating.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Useful software, documentation and support issues Generally good, except for a miserable experience e-filing. The support info on AGI for spouse (prior year married filing jointly) was wrong, and the error (from IRS) was misleading with explanation in TurboTax email of "IND-032-04 - 'SpousePriorYearPIN' or 'SpousePriorYearAGIAmt' in the Return Header must match the e-File database." Since e-File PINs from prior year are no longer used (per Intuit support info) why could a PIN discrepancy be the problem? The community suggested setting prior AGI to 0 for spouse BUT THIS IS SET ONLY IN FILING - no way to do in Forms or Interview mode, Final annoying issue (for this review at least): You cannot search in a form window -- the usual Command/Control F bring up the Search for a Form window. This would be less of a problem if one didn't have to search the web for things like the PIN issues because you cannot find it in the weak help system. I'll buy it again because of the carryforwards and decent state transfers, but it could be a much better product,

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Problems Just one little glitche on asset depreciation caused an extra hour of work because Turbo Tax kept going around in circles and refused to e-file. Now the IRS has rejected my return. Why is it always something? I still had to pay the $25 for CA state return and it wasn't even e-filed!
