Rated 5 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax Rocks I have used Turbotax for years now and it has always been stellar. It makes things so easy. It used to take me a couple days to complete by hand and now it's a few hours. Their experts are first rate and knowledgeable. Keep up the great job.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from You've gotten way too expensiv Less expensive options elsewhere and all your programs do the same thing. I'll be using a different tax service next year. And recommending other's do too. Even H&R Block is 60.00 cheaper. I would've done it this year but I didn't want to re-do everything. Ugh.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from usually simplifies things I get lost in forms, so this really simplifies it for me for the most part. That said, every year the software messes up at least one form and I have to correct it which is much harder than filling out the form in the first place.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Turbo tax missed a couple of key solutions Turbotax's handling of mutual fund Dividend income was confusing when a foreign tax payment was reported on 1099 DIV. I was asked to determine what the actual income value was for the basis of the foreign tax. The values and countries are not listed on the 1099 DIV so, nowhere to be found, so I guessed. Not cool. Also, the State of CA tax return includes numerous questions about income exemptions, credits, etc and Turbotax did nothing to help lead or clarify the user in this. Felt abandoned and may have missed some breaks or credits..
