Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love Turbo It is easy to follow and have tips on how to fill it and get the right refund. I used Turbo before, but last year I tried HR Block expert and it was terrible. Paid a lot and had lots of headaches with the expert. With turbo if anything looks weird you can pay and get expert help. This year I ended up getting a terrible expert from turbo as well. But, and this is a big but, I just said "thank you, bye" to the bad expert and tried the next, which was great. So, if you don't have a great tax expert, which is my case. I would recommend Turbo, since it is an easy tool, and you can try and pick a good expert, also if you pay, they will back you up if you have any issue with your taxes, and it is still less than most experts would ask.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from TurboTax is terrible for QuickBooks Online users This is the third year in a row that you have limped along with this product instead of updating it to make it directly compatible with QuickBooks Online (QBO). Every year importing QBO data into TurboTax has been terrible. You rely on old technology (ActiveX) to link the software, requiring QBO users to transfer data to QB Desktop (QBD) first before transferring to TurboTax, but the process is convoluted and extremely error prone. This year, I tried it on two different computers, one with Win10 and one with Win11 and couldn't get the process to work at all, so I had to enter everything into TurboTax manually. I also find it hard to believe that the transfer process was QA'd for Win11 because ActiveX isn't supported on Win11 (which I found out after banging my head against the wall for hours). Your support teams have no idea how to support with these issues and I wasted a couple of hours with them, in addition to wasting about 6 hours trying to fight your transfer process (installing and reinstalling QBD trial versions, the migration tool, etc), plus the extra time I wasted after I finally gave up and did it all manually. Fix this for next year. By the way, MSFT is no longer supporting IE11 and any ActiveX after Jun 2022.
