It gets the job done, but it's sometimes too confusing, navigation is inefficient and you have to do the same screens (or useless and irrelevant screens) multiple times and very slowly, it's also quite expensive. It should allow jumping, show if a page has been visited before and also changing all data should be possible at any stage and screen. I suggest adding submenues for faster navigation and avoiding questions that are static and have been answered before with the option to go back to them.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from No way to report dividends paid on short stock It's a good program but can't do everything. I have long stock positions and short stock positions. Ttax reports dividends received on long stock fine. No version of Ttax reports dividends paid on short stock positions, eventhough that information is provided on a 1099. It also doesn't help if you own vacation property in another country.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Nowhere to put carry over loss from investments Not sure why there was not a section for the carry over loss from investments from prior year. I had to create a new investment line. Also very expensive this year.
