This year, on same laptop (Windows 10 64 bit version with all Microsoft updates), the install went great, but when I tried to do updates, I kept getting error 1603, When installing software update, the following error occurs: "A fatal error occurred during install". After 2 hours on phone with turbotax support we were unable to correct the issue. I wound up reinstalling Turbotax Deluxe on a Desktop and did my taxes there. This was my first issue with Turbotax in 5 years of use.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Use it every year, but it treats me like... Every year when I use TT, it asks me to enter my name and address SO many times. I hate buying more stuff to e-file. However, if I must pay two or three times...please make it simpler. TT knows my name and address, but it treats me like a stranger for every actual transaction.
