Rated 2 out of 5 by from Too Many Fees The process was pretty easy to use, but I was not impressed by being constantly pestered to pay "only" another 40 or 50 or 60+ dollars. Filing my state return only to be told at the end it would cost me $50 was frustrating.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from TurboTax does make filing taxes fairly simple TurboTax walks you through all the applicable possibilities and provides answers to the first normal question of "what is that and does it apply to me?" The ability to import investment data directly from my financial institutions prevents what could be many, many typos. The only error in my return was a typo that TurboTax caught that I entered.
