Rated 3 out of 5 by from Still cumbersome but does the job It's ok, but navigation is frustrating. Some screens are impossible to get back to. The navigation choices (answers) are not saved, so you have to figure out what did you answer before to get to the numbers to verify. Specifically that was the case with 401K over contribution, and college savings plans. Help is also cumbersome. TT promises the support, but in reality its Q&A and additional charges for support.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great product but too expensive Filing was pretty easy, I was unable to transfer bank and trading info so I had to enter the numbers by downloading a pdf. The questions and import were good. What is frustrating is that IO have been using Turbotax for years and each year the price seems to go up. A few years ago I bought my product from Best Buy for $39. This year it cost me $140, ouch! They make it easy except for the cost.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax DOES NOT support military I searched online to see if Turbotax was free for people in the military and everywhere I looked it said all versions (including deluxe) were free. When I got clear to the END of filing it said deluxe was $60 and the only way to get free was to erase everything and start over. I have been using Turbotax for over a decade and it's always been free except for this year and last year. I though I had done something wrong last year, so I tried again this year. I will not try again.

Having a simple, straight-forward process that walks me through in a timely fashion and makes me feel confident that I haven't made a huge and costly mistake is a huge load off my mind each year. The step-by-step question approach to filling out the forms is a huge plus. Thank you.
