Even taking into account recent modifications that simplify the returns of the 98%, TurboTax saves time and confers confidence that all the right forms, Federal and State, are present and correctly completed. The format is as user-friendly as imaginable.

Only thing I wish they would do is expand the institutions linked to them so I could import financial information. Overall awesome experience every year.

You are forced to upgrade to their "premier" service and charged $90 for federal AND an additional $50 for state just to own stock. But you aren't made aware of this until AFTER you've entered in all of your information. You pay $140 to enter 2 line items. Nothing else is different. I paid more in turbotax fees for owning stock than I even made from them. I've used their service for 3 year, but I will not be using them again. Had I not spent the past 2 hours entering all of my information first before being told I couldn't continue without paying the additional $140, I wouldn't have filed with them.
