Rated 1 out of 5 by from I will NEVER use Turbo Tax again! I paid 42 dollars for the most basic product. To save (I thought) a further charge I elected to have the $42 dollars deducted form my refund. I find out at the very end that for the privilege of having $42 deducted from my refund, you charge me a $40 dollar fee. There is no button to choose to simply change my choice and pay with a credit card. It is shady and I wound up paying $82 dollars. I will never use your product again!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from TurboTax is good for the Federal Short Form TurboTax seems to have a great deal of difficulty understanding State returns. One year when I worked in multiple states and and two states have a reciprocal agreement TurboTax totally failed at comprehending this. This year I am retired and have only one state to deal with and TurboTax gives conflicting instructions: 1) Go to your state website and pay 2) You must mail in a form and your check. Other general issue is TurboTax doesn't help with planning the next years taxes or on calculating or importing estimated tax payments.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Just OK It's so complicated to find anything you need to go back to and change. After a long call with a "specialist". He gave me the wrong information. I finally figured it out myself after a couple of hours. TT used to work better. But it's not terrible I suppose - just really bad if you are stuck and have a question. The answers it shoots out at you are a joke.
