Rated 1 out of 5 by from Annoyed with the printing process. I could not print my returns to mail and still haven't done so. And today is 05/17/21 so my returns will be late because I can't figure out how to print returns using Adobe. I have used Turbo tax for past 10 years with no problem.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax 2020 ok-BUT For several years Turbo Tax has been my "go-to" software for tax self-preparation. Usually there are no great problems. BUT THIS YEAR IS NOT THE CASE! There is an obvious bug with TT when it initially creates the TurboTax file but subsequently the file cannot be further accessed in 'write' mode because the permission has changed to 'read only' status. I think the Turbo Tax engineers has been extremely SLOW in fixing the problem.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Tax Calc is Excellent & Some Software is Clumsy My experience with my Federal return was excellent. It was sent on May 13 and it was excepted in a few hours. I started on the IL state return on the on 5/15, the program didn't seemed the federal was finished and it wanted to send fed return before I worked on the state. When I was ready to send the State on Sunday, it still wanted to send the Federal. Requiring to using one of those two companies to pay tax on the 2nd takes a lot of time and to giving lots of personal info. Shifting in and out of the software is very clumsy. Regarding questions below, I have kids but they adults and are paying taxes there own families.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not easy to navigate & boxes missing You are forced to use the back button to return to earlier places in the Easy Step. Also, when I went directly to the form, I was not allowed to fill in a box with numbers. Two years in a row the section in Easy Step for filling in figures for expenses (insurance, utilities, etc) for Sch. C was defective. One could not see the full box on the screen. You could only fill it in effective by filling the lines on the Details option.
