Rated 3 out of 5 by from Worse each year I have used TurboTax for at least 10 years, except one year when I used H&R Block and was so disappointed, I came back to TurboTax. But I've noticed the last 4 years or so a decrease in quality each year. There are fewer elaborations on each topic, explanations, examples of items, etc. My state tax this year was barely more than the actual form, and I had to search out my state's printed explanation booklet (pdf) to hand-enter the items myself. The things TurboTax calculated automatically from my Federal return (onto my state return) were wrong due to differing rules. Not sure whether I will use it again next year... disappointed.
