Rated 5 out of 5 by from My Go-To Tax Service Since TY1993! It's thorough. It works. Navigation is easy. Appreciate that you can import the info from the previous year and from It's Deductible. Don't like that even though I have 5 federal downloads, and use 3, I'd have to pay for our 2 Ohio returns. And it was expensive for our son to add a second state. He tried to do it on the state's tax site but since his federal was already completed on TT he had trouble with incompatibility.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Service great; other communications options needed Experience was great other than not being able to set up a non-telephone communications option since I'm oversees. TurboTax does not allow their tax experts to call international numbers, nor do they allow non-telecom options that work on WiFi, such as video or audio teleconference. Adding such an option will be necessary, especially for U.S. government/military folks oversees.

Tax Preparer was not available to discuss my tax situation or provide me with alternative filing options for the best outcome (married jointly vs separately). And if I wanted to file my spouses tax return separately they would charge an additional $249. I would recommend Turbo Tax Online but not this Live option, it did nothing for me, I was still chasing down documents that I could have done myself. It was more of a headache than a service. Also, the Intuit Service Guarantee is not applicable to the Live option so buyer beware.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from One of the Better Online Tax Preperation Products This was my first year using the Premier product from Turbotax. It was very simple to use. I really like that I did not have to type the information in myself, but it connected to the brokerage site and pulled all the information to avoid me making any mistakes. The only issue I had with TurboTax is that it stored the previous years tax product and was really difficult to remove even though the directions seemed very simple. I had to reset my tax forms multiple times for it to eventually remove the old tax product.
