Rated 1 out of 5 by from TurboTax TurboTax does not offer for me to file free anymore, they require a payment. Not a fan of this, especially after filing for free the last 3 years. If we don't need help filing, there should be a free option!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Couldn't download state tax form (CT) This was by far the worst tax filing experience I've ever had. So much wasted time. It took me 10+ hours to file my taxes this year, with 3+ hours spent talking to three different TurboTax customer representatives. I bought the TurboTax download and the state download would not download and kept sending me in a loop. Talking to their customer service yielded no results as they convinced me that it was my internet issues causing the problem and told me to buy an ethernet cable (which did not solve the issue). Other representatives said there was nothing they could do as they had "never seen this problem before". A quick google search showed that this was a problem that other people had run into. Following the steps provided in the google search still did not fix my issue. After wasting hours of time trying everything, from deleting and redownloading TurboTax, installing other recommended files, etc. I gave up and requested a refund. Will update if they process my refund.
