Rated 5 out of 5 by from Turbo did it again This year I tried to work through a tax preparer to compare to Turbo Tax, which I have been using for years. Turbo Tax wins! The preparer missed deductions that Turbo Tax picked up right away and the preparer cost me $70 more and had problems filing. In the end, I dropped the preparer and came back to Turbo Tax. I have peace of mind.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Judging on overall experience The Turbo Tax software is great but every year I have to call customer service to get my prior year's tax data file linked to the current year. This year I had to call again and was told they are having technical issues with that so I had to enter in my 2019 tax information along with reentering all my contact information. Another related issued is that this year's schedules had no prior year information comparison. I'm also very upset that for the first time I had to pay $25 to e-file the state return. Very deceptive practice given that the advertising says free state return.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great product! I had a bit of difficulty loading the program. I was not able to load it by CD so I downloaded it from internet. All went well. Very simple and easy to use. I've been using turbo tax for about eight years and will use it again next year.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not all US citizens live in the US. Better than it used to be, but still not great at handling the extremely common case of US citizens resident in Canada. Even simple things like postal codes having a space in them, but also missed opportunities like knowing the exchange rates, understanding that we have a T4 not a W2, we might have nonresident alien spouses, etc.
